Indoor boots are flat-soled and made from non-marking gum rubber, which grips a polished floor without leaving streaks on it. Most sports halls will refuse entry in anything else.

The sole is thin on purpose. Futsal is a close-control game and players want to feel the floor and the ball, which a cushioned outdoor sole takes away.
They are the wrong choice outdoors. Gum rubber is soft, and an abrasive surface will take the tread off in a handful of sessions.
