Football boots are manufactured in EU sizes. We list every pair in US sizes with the EU and UK equivalent beside it, so you are never converting in your head at checkout.
Measure your foot
Two minutes here saves a return. Foot length in centimetres is the only measure that means the same thing in every country.
- 1Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you play in.
- 2Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe — which is not always the big toe.
- 3Measure heel to mark in centimetres, then do the same for the other foot.
- 4Use the larger of the two numbers and find it in the CM column below.

US women’s sizing runs about 1.5 higher than US men’s for the same foot. The boot itself is the same.
Getting the fit right
- Measure late in the day. Feet swell as you use them, and a boot fitted first thing in the morning will be tight by kick-off.
- Football boots are meant to fit closer than trainers. Aim for about a thumbnail of space at the toe, not a thumb's width.
- Between two sizes, take the larger one. A boot that is slightly long can be managed with a thicker sock; one that is too short cannot be fixed.
- Soft ground boots are often worn a half size up to allow for thicker winter socks.
Ball sizes
Size 5 is the adult match ball and the default on every listing.
First ball. Light enough for small players to strike properly.
