Honoring an iconic moment, kit or player in the club’ and city’s history, this collection manifests for Portland by paying homage to Clive Charles, a trailblazer in soccer. One of the first Black players in England’s Premier League, he joined the Timbers in 1978 and is known as one of the biggest names in Portland sports. Featuring a heritage 70’s crest, the kit also ties into the club’s baseball history with its aesthetics, alluding to the club’s history of playing 70’s matches in the town’s ball park.
